First 24 have been great. I think she found a new name...Ruby! She's a bit of a barker with all the new Venice noises but I think that will calm down with a little training. We went for a 2 mile run on the boardwalk today and she was in doggie heaven. She slept through the night, no messes or barking or anything to note. My friend came over for dinner last night and she jumped right on the couch and put her nose on him. She's absolutely precious.

Project Taiwan
In December, 2008, we were alerted to the issue of homeless Goldens in Taiwan through an email from a young rescuer named Rita. Taiwan is population-dense and when folks find that living in close quarters with a big dog isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, the dogs either go a shelter, where they’re euthanized after 7 days, or get turned out on the streets. Rita and MJ are two dog-loving young ladies who want to make a difference. Despite huge odds and with an amazing level of effort, they are doing incredible things without many resources.
